I have been moved by what so many participants say about the powerful impact TIME TO ELEVATE has had on them and more importantly the significant ACTIONS they subsequently take that directly impact the lives of Black and Brown people.
I knew in the midst of the race awakening in June 2020 I had to do something else to help us GET TO WORK on what seems so insurmountable.The equity road is really a long one. But I know in community there is so much we can accomplish. And racism will ONLY shift when White people REALLY DO THEIR WORK. The work is not easy, but we deliver our class in a compassionate, loving, as well as challenging way. Join us in TIME TO ELEVATE and elevate your actions and behaviors on Race.

Though the training from today is still sifting through me, I just wanted to drop you both a note of thanks. It was excellent; moving and inspiring in every way. I hope you both get some rest after offering the generosity of your time for that incredible additional final 30 minutes. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. You're providing both spaciousness and specificity. It's quite a gift. I'm looking forward to the next experiences with the membership group. It's funny, I used to feel the weight but doing the work in this more intensive way is actually a relief.
I wanted to thank you for creating the Time to Elevate courses. I've had a hard time putting into words the impact that the work is having, but I can tell you that it is deep, meaningful, and enduring. The course materials, the readings, your presence and perspectives, and the power of community are all working their magic, including improving my ability to hold space for others. This feels important as more individuals and clients are opening up to explore this work, and we are often the first point of inquiry. It is allowing me to be more accurate about what I can/can't do, where I still need to lean in, where I feel comfortable and therefore know how to best be of service.
Thanks so much for "Time to Elevate." I found the pre-work insightful and in a few places in particular it helped concretize, extend or clarify ideas that had been floating around in my head. Dr. Diangelo, Trevor Noah, and Dr Rollock's use of "And I still rise" resonated deeply with me. I think about Langston Hughes "Still Here," moved from showing up again and again to rising.
Thanks to both of you for putting ourselves out there, making sure you're paid, and providing a safe, rich, and moving opportunity to learn, grow and act.

Overwhelmed with how popular Time to Elevate masterclass is we developed a part 2. THE WORK CONTINUES. Part 2 is for you if you have completed Time to Elevate Part 1 and you want to keep moving forward to ensure you
- Keep learning about your White identity, the lives of Black and Brown people and the impact of systemic racism.
- Take the actions that you promised yourself at the end of Part 1.
- Get coaching on the areas where you struggle and would like guidance.
- Grow in confidence as an ally. Confidence leads to appropriate actions
- Keep moving forward in your development as a White ally
- Are in a supportive community of people
We will be encouraging you to stay on track and to follow through on what your head and your heart is telling you to do in this moment.
THIS IS NOT A QUICK FIX - It requires a willingness to learn and then act. We work with people who want to change their actual behaviors.
There is curated PRE WORK AND POST WORK for both master classes which is critical to gain the full impact of the master class . You will leave with a deeper understanding and practical steps to start your anti- racism in action

This year continues to show us again and again the brutal impact of racism and systemic oppression in all walks of life. Promises and commitments to moving forward and standing with Black and Brown people only work if they are followed with sustained action.
We have heard many White people say they want to be part of the change, but they DO NOT KNOW where to start. For real change to happen it really takes White people owning their White privilege and being willing to DO THE WORK and do better every day.
OUR RECOMMENDATION: Join with a learning partner who is committed to changing alongside you.
You can work on the pre-work and the post-work together. And support each other with what you are discovering.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS
SHIRLEY McALPINE & RAY FISHER
Shirley is a specialist in leadership, individual performance, equity, diversity and inclusion, for 34 years. She has worked in the UK, US, Europe and Africa. Her clients include Fortune 100 companies, small businesses and Foundations including L’Oreal, Open Society Foundations, Civil Rights Corp, UN Foundation, BP, the NFL, the Global Alliance for Clean Cooking, NACPM, and Windsor Leadership Trust.
In 2017 she designed and Chaired the very first ‘Inspiring Black/Asian Leader’ Windsor Leadership program at Windsor Castle. Shirley’s Chicago based coaching, consulting practice and online training business works with senior leaders, and C suite executives, with a primary, not exclusive, focus on senior women including Women of Color. She is PCC accredited by International Coaching Federation. She is trained in Hellinger’s Systemic theory, and an accredited Intercultural Development Inventory Assessor (IDI).
She consulted on the launch of the SOROS Racial Equality Fellowship for leaders influencing the racial justice field. Over the years her equity work has included Delivering race workshops in midwifery, working with NACPM and the national Association for the advancement of black birth. Delivering Diversity Engagement Sessions to the top 1000 leaders in Shell. She also designed and delivered the diversity and Inclusion program for all Partners in KPMG UK.
Shirley launched She’s Got Drive Podcast at the historic Apollo's Women of the World Festival in 2017. She interviews Black women about their success and how they achieved it. In 2019 She's Got Drive was named by Black Enterprise as one of the top 20 podcasts for Black women. She currently Chairs the Apollo's Women's network Empower.
Ray Fisher, MSW, LCSW, PCC is an educator, executive coach and facilitator who has worked with clients across various industries, including global client services firms, government (Federal, State, County, and City), higher education and non-profits. For the last 15+ years, Mr. Fisher has helped senior leaders and management teams expand cooperation, improve performance, and transform their organizations through increased efficiencies. He is recognized for his extensive knowledge in the area of emotional growth, relationship development, and human capital maturity, with a specialty in anti-racism education and coaching.
Ray has taught a number of courses on race at the graduate University level. He has extensive experience and knowledge working with individuals, groups, and organizations assisting in moving towards becoming Anti-racist organizations.
Ray holds a Master’s degree from Smith College School for Social Work. He is also now an adjunct professor at Smith, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), and certified in the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI) through the Hay Group.
